One of the best property management firms we have worked with by far!!! (1000 times better!!!)

As most landlords can attest, it can usually be a nightmare working with Property management firms. We’ve worked with at least 5 property management firms and issues we have faced include having to deal with entitled, rude, unresponsive, and incompetent Property Managers. They are often pretty expensive as well!! The worst we have to deal with was Uplift Property Management/ Jenson Properties for our home in San Diego. (Please see my other reviews on Uplift Property Management for more details).

Ziprent reps were easy to work with, responsive, and always followed up on our inquiries and followed through quickly. They were able to find us a qualified tenant (and 5 applications and tons of walkthroughs) within A WEEK!! It took Uplift 2months +. Added bonus is that their fees are 1/4 of what other PM firms charge, and you are not required to sign a 1 year contract or any long term commitments with them!

I do as much of the negotiation with the tenant on rent, repairs since I don’t pay that much fee. A full service PPT mgr charges 4x and still relies on Zillow to manage the PPT. Ziprent uses technology to automate, streamline its business with high efficiency. Whenever I call, I always get a person to answer the call and complete my requests as I add. Ziprent really listens and understands customer requests. Even though they are not perfect, they try to satisfy the customer to the maximum.

Ziprent is without a doubt the most sophisticated, friendly and easy to access team with which I have ever had the pleasure to work. We are now into our 3rd year of renting the same home through ZipRent, so we have had plenty of experience with them.

Smooth experience working with Ziprent from scheduling a viewing all the way to move-in. I was hesitant at first since they seemed to be one of those rental companies you don’t speak to a person at all at any point, but they were communicative and clear throughout the entire process. On move-in day our lockbox code for the key wasn’t working, I called and was able to get an actual human on the phone immediately. She was super sweet and promptly texted me a new code that worked. Post move in- we had a couple of questions regarding gates, remotes, little things here and there- and we also got a swift email response, even on a Sunday. Good experience all around.
